I have a free standing Arial Ott Lite with a 25w daylight bulb set over my workspace. Its great. the bulb last for years and you can really see what you are doing. Also for designers fab for colour matching.

I bought mine from David Drummond in Edinburgh but I am sure you could buy online.
Mine is floor standing and would not be without it.
Cost around £180
