I always use the Philips Azur Irons, I find them fantastic!

A new best buy from Which? is the Philips GC4610, £54 RRP.
Produced plenty of steam and ironed excellently thanks to long soleplate.

Hi Louise - fount of all knowledge!! - do you know which steam iron is currently most recommended? Need to replace my workroom one, and as always want a long flex and good steam

They haven't done any more in-depth testing since my last post on the Philips at the end of Dec '09. They have had a look at a new Breville iron, the Extra Steam+ but it has not undergone rigorous comparison testing.
