pelmet inside recess

Hiya,
Started thinking about a job thats coming up.......as we do.......
its inside fix, i was going to still make returns, is that standard or does anyone do anything different?

Hi Sharon,
I wouldn't put returns on an inside recess valance. I've done these before and they looked fine. You might have problems with the fit if you have returns.

Hi Pen,
If it dosnt have returns wont it be a bit unstable? I will be fixing to a 1" wooden batten at the top and with the sides it will move? It's a flat pelmet not a valance

Put 1" 'legs' on each side and velcro in place - that should tame it!
