  • Curtain headings and more training course

Another enjoyable and educational course from Pen at Collybrook. A great variety of bespoke curtain heading and leading edge styles and designs, and lovely trims to bling up clients curtains, all very tastefully executed of course!! Pen always runs an enjoyable, fun and informal day so always worth the 5hour round trip.

It would be really interesting to know how many of you get asked to make truly bespoke window treatments, and how often? Do you take a variety of sample mock ups you've made to try and 'encourage' them to have something different outside of the usual if you think a particular client has the budget and could be interested in something a bit more elaborate?

Thanks for the kind words, Sue! I had a really enjoyable day as well.

I only get asked a couple of times a year to do anything more than perhaps a bead trim on the bottom of a roman. But it is worth having trims etc on your samples as it will encourage interest.
    Kind regards
