  • Merrick and Day

I did the three day intensive course. If you already have experience and done curtain making its a confidence booster. Study the books first and it helps.
Great to see how a real workroom functions and great for all those little tips.

I also did the 3-day course and loved every moment. I wish I lived closer so I could do the one-day specialist courses they run as well, as it was a wonderful experience all round. It's hard to justify the costs involved with travel and accommodation for one day. Lucky you living nearby, Ali!

I did the 2 week course and because i only live about 45 mins from Redbourne Hall i drove there every day. Betty who taught us was great and the Hall its self,
well dream on. I would say you do need to have a good knowledge of sewing though. I really think it is worth it, the only thing i would say is i think the samples could have been made a bit bigger but then that is just my opinion. I would without a doubt recommend it to anyone. By the way im the one in the bottom photo in black, on their curtain course site. (Im not normally that misserable looking)
