  • Fitting Eyelets - Eyelet Press

Demonstrating how to use an eyelet press: Eyelet press purchased from M&D.

    Thinking of buying one?

These machines should be screwed down to prevent any movement, but I clamp mine down when in use.. Probably not the best way and I wouldn't recommend this.

Thanks for that info. Will certainly think about getting one of these machines if my business picks up, it would speed up making eyelets as I cut by hand.

Can the same machine be used for 5mm eyelets, by buying the 5mm dies?

              Hi Philip
Thanks for posting u tube re fitting eyelets using eyelet press. I have a press and get a lot of use out of it, although i usually punch the hole then insert bottom and top ring together which means you have to remove the curtain in between hole and pressing the eye on. After watching the video i then tried it Philips way and it worked a treat and a lot quicker.
              Thanks Philip.
