Amateur Curtain Maker introducing herself!

Hello Everyone!

I came across this wonderful site earlier and could not resist joining A, because I have loads of curtains to make up for my new home and B, if I were not such a scaredy cat I would be out there like a lot of you earning a living at curtain making!

So I thought I would leap in feet first and see if I can improve my talents. I have made numerous pairs of curtains, blinds etc over the years but wish I could be more adventurous with my efforts. If it is alright with you all I shall be picking your brains for some advice.

Im not long a member of this site, and the information and help you get is great.
Hope i can be of help to you also sometime. Im kinda starting out on my own at the moment, still working part-time but my intentions is to set my own business and work full-time making curtains, im from Ireland.

Thank you everybody! I know these forums are addictive so I do limit myself to time spent on them otherwise I get nothing done. I think I mentioned I've got loads of curtains to make, this week I've got two pairs of my new curtains made as we move next week, so I am pretty busy. Thanks again to you all I'll be back soon.
