  • Introduction

    Hello everyone
    My name is Clark Griswald
I joined our family business in 1990 after working in an office for a few years after leaving school.
My father taught me all about the trade and now I think or hope I am competent in most areas but am always willing to learn new ideas
I can do all types of fitting and have an extensive fabric library and accounts with most suppliers
I hope I will be able to make a useful contribution to the forum
    Cheers for now
    Clark

                          Hi Clark,

                          Welcome to our forum.

Could have done with your help this morning. Fitted 2 pairs interlined curtains to Swish Superluxe Tracks - it took me about 15 mins (X4) to get the end hooks into the hole at the end of the track where the cording mechanism is located. Nightmare - I was sweating buckets and the track was about 3M high!

Advice on this would be most welcome!

                          Sue.

                            Hi Sue
The end covers on Swish Superluxe are quite tricky, I try and straighten the pin hook out with a pair of pliers and then get it in that way but it is still a bit fiddly.
If you are supplying the tracks, a good alternative is Rolls Superglyde which is a Hallis Hudson product. These are metal tracks with plastic ends, corded and uncorded. They can be bent to a bay window on site and are reasonably priced.
They are obviously not in the league of Silent Gliss or Integra Double Duty but they are much cheaper
                            Hope this helps
                            Clark
