  • Hi there

    Hi everyone

I have just found this site and am finding it really informative if not a little addictive! I live in North Yorkshire with my husband, son, beagle, setter and moggy.

I had been making for friends and family for a while when I decided to take the plunge and try to sew for a living. I am half way throught the NDA course and have a few jobs under my belt.

I absolutely love sewing but just need to work on my confidence I am in awe of some of the photos I have seen here and will work hard to try to get to those standards.

You are a friendly bunch and I am glad to have found this site.

        Hi Jules

It took about an hour to do my first post much to my husband's amusement!

Can you tell I was not allowed any pets when I was growing up

                          Re: Hi there

Welcome from me to Jo, great to have another on board, you will find it addictive, but its great support, and everyone is so nice sharing their experiences and knowledge. I'm starting up on my own also, have been doing it part-time for friends but my full-time job is coming to an end so im going to try and make a living out of what i love doing. I have plenty of work on for Christmas and its all been word of mouth, so hopefully it will continue. Best of luck to you.
