    This is is a great blog post from Leatherwood Design on working with trimming braid to create a lovely mitred trim on cushions. There are also clear photos to show the difference adding fusible stabiliser (as sold by Colly Brook in the UK) made to the project.

          Interesting post but I don't agree about matching your zip to the trim. I always match it to the main fabric otherwise it can give the impression that one side of the cushion has a thicker trim.
