                    Hi Esther,

Really nice - I love the fabrics too- is it Ships by Prestigious or the similar one from LA?

What did you put inside the quilt?

                    Sue.

hi thanks, sue the small blanket got interlinning in the middle with a interlocking stitch to keep it in place with herringbone stitch around the edges and a red piping to finish it off the fabric is all prestigious ships, tiddlers and navy stripe thanks for everybodys lovely comments esther the thing i dont seem to get right is i always seem to get half a pattern top and hem of curtains is this avoidable i read the books but dont seem to avoid it happening thanks again esther

                        Hi Esther,

I usually make sure I have a whole pattern on the bottom of curtains. The opposite on Roman Blinds.

Where different length/height curtains are hanging in the same room, I make the most prominent pair with the best pattern placement, and make the others line up horizontally with those.

                        Sue

Hey congratulations Esther...was wondering where you'd disppeared to. 2yrs old is a demanding age but it does gets easier. I didn't go near a sewing machine from when I had my children till the youngest turned 3 and went off to pre-school occasionally! Just enjoy your time with him while he's little, they grow up SO fast.
