  • Italian Stringing & Large Round Tablecloth

Hope this works - first attempt at posting here.

I fitted two pairs of these yesterday; the main fabric is Villa Nova Seville Grass with a 1" Contrast Border to leading, bottom and top edges in Seville Almond. I made curved pelmet boards for them to sit on. Client was really pleased. She said I should be very proud of myself - not something that I am good at doing. The round tablecloth was 228cm in Colefax Delft Tulips Interlined and Lined with Colefax Grosvenor Bullion to bottom edge most expensive cloth I have ever made!

I would like to add my special thanks to Philip (and Louise) for all the additional advice and encouragement they have given me throughout this job. Largely thanks to you that I delivered on time and fitted.

How beautiful! The ensemble fits really well together and the fabrics are just perfect! You must be really, really pleased. Very professional indeed.

It's always hard to know what to put in beamed properties, (says she knowingly through living in one). It's easy to make them look too twee but you've managed to combine 'country' and 'elegance' perfectly!

      More pics please!

Yvonne, post away. I just love seeing the fruits of everyone's labour. It's one of the few things that keeps me sane.

He sounds like a real treasure. I'm sure you let him know how much he's appreciated, afterall this is a collaborative affair this curtain making and fitting!

                      Jx.

p.s. Looking forward to meeting your fitter. Sure we'll have lots of questions for him.....

Your work looks beautiful. Its not easy getting the proportions right with Italian stringing but you have got it spot on.
You should be very pleased with yourself.
Isn't this a great place to see so many talented peoples' work.
                              keep posting everyone!
