I promised my customer I would have her Blackwatch tartan pelmet ready in time for Christmas, silly me
It was a bit more difficult than i'd originally thought, as I had to make sure the horizontal lines in the tartan were straight as well as the vertical ones
Also, I wanted the pattern on the tails to match the pelmet so as not to look messy. I self piped the pelmet in a thick piping cord covered in forrest green seville by Villa Nova, which I had used to back the tails in.
Now need to find a heavy key tassel in bottle green/black to hang from the middle point!
I managed to deliver and hang the pelmet on Christmas eve, and the lady was 'over the moon' thank god!
