          Hi Mairi,

That is a lovely job loads of work I know, I have pm you my price for a similiar valance, I have attached the picture of one I made for a show house in Rugby, which I fitted and everything looked great until I got the dreaded phone call!!!!!!!!! it's the wrong fabric Fortunatly it was not down to me as I was only the maker, but as both Sue and I really liked the fabric we put them in the dining room at our last house and it is a Christmas picture, so we would like to wish a very MERRY CHRISTMAS TO ALL MEMBERS AND A PROSPEROUS NEW YEAR [attachment=0:14don3ru]Group_g_2.jpg[/attachment:14don3ru]

Beautifully made but I really have to say the fabric is not my cup of tea.... sorry, not meant to offend. However, it certainly is Christmassy and sometimes things look different in the flesh. Do you have a picture of the correct fabric?

Merry Christmas to the two of you too!

What an awful phone call to get Dave - although at least it wasn't your responsibility! That's a nightmare I haven't had - yet.

              Lovely work Mairi.

Re: Inverted Pleat Valance with top panel & buttons

                Hi Jules,

The correct fabric was from the same collection, the same colourway just a different design, which was just a change of number!
Hence a warning to allways check the fabric before sending out to your makers.
                Regards Dave and Sue

It's so easy to transpose numbers........ Glad you ended up with what you wanted though.

Absolutely beautiful Mairi, you must be so pleased with how they look, especially since you found the fabric a nightmare to work with. Well done !!
                      Kind regards

They look fabulous Mairi and I love the pleat detail. Out of interest it doesn't look as though the button on the pleat holds it flat against the side which is rather clever, if that is so, how did you do it?
