Well done Jo! Very crisp and neat! Did you get up and fit them?????? Do tell.

As to the cushions what a ray of sunshine they are - lovely for this miserably dark horrid time of year.

          Hi Jo,
They look fab! Hope my long ones turn out as well - it turns out there aren't two, there are eight - and guess what, she wants them before Christmas!

                Re: Those long romans...

Thanks for your comments and good luck with the 8 romans before Christmas Jackie!

I am very lucky to have found a local home maintenance guy to fit my battens etc. This was our first job together and it went like clockwork. He fitted one batten, moved onto the next and I followed hanging blinds as I went.

I would love to say we had to abseil down the wall to fit the blinds but the top floor has a balcony on both sides so we just had to lean over![attachment=0:331nfhdp]MyDec3.jpg[/attachment:331nfhdp]

Well done you!! They look great. Although leaning over that balcony sounds just as scary as abseiling down!!! Looks like a gorgeous house.
The cushions are in fab colours....lovely and bright!

                    Re: Those long romans...

It is a converted chapel which is now being used as a holiday home. It really is beautiful.

I was asked to find some fabric which matched some bold artwork painted in primary colours. I found a site called deckchairstripes.com which supply deck chair fabric but also do interior fabrics.

I am so chuffed with all the positive feedback. Thanks
