  • back from a career break!

    Never thought I'd find myself joining a forum but here I am! Just trying to ease myself back into work after having our third child - she's now 18 months. Been a soft furnisher for years but would now like to use my skills to teach. Have already started to run a few workshops and I'm enjoying it. Will attempt to upload some photos of my past work. The work I've seen on the forum is amazing.... looking forward to seeing much more....

    I hope you enjoy the forum, it can be a bit addictive, but there is masses of useful information, ideas and help. Look forward to seeing some more of your designs - the picture is lovely.

            thanks for the compliments, Pen, since you've asked, no its not an alter - the photo was taken for a some organza table linen and curtains I had designed and made some years back whilst I was living in Mauritius - It was at my place in the dining area - The house was built in the 1800's during the French Colonial rule hence the rustic decor. Not the sort of thing one comes across every day, which is why I posted it....
