Has anyone come across a black and cream striped wallpaper? It is to go under a chair rail in a bedroom. The curtain fabric is a 'dirty' cream (not yellowy or milky) with a large but subtle black outlined rose?

I'm intrigued...or maybe just a bit thick, but why do u want to put wallpaper under a chair rail?

I think Jules is refering to a dado rail Mairi. Strange terminology in Stoke on Trent. Quite right though it is really a chair rail

According to my book, the chair rail runs around the room to stop chairs from damaging expensive wall finishes that, in turn, cover the dado area under the chair rail!Comment

This is the curtain fabric. The background is not as pinky cream as in picture, more dirty cream
