      Re: shower curtain

Give Chatham Glyn fabrics a call. They do all sorts of other sorts of fabrics as well as curtain fabrics.

      Sue.

Think you need a trade account with them though.

Evans have FR Blackout lining in White, but I can't see ordinary lining in their list. But they also now have FR Waterproof, Anti-Mold, Anti-Bacterial Shower Drape - 205cm wide, 50m rolls.
          Kind regards

thanks for that I have had a look around evan site but dont seam able to find my way round it can only find lining no shower curtain. I have found a company called AGUA that sell shower curtaining ,cubical curtains bedding etc, all FR waterproof bug and germ free etc, I have emailed them and they to will only sell in 50 mt rolls. Is this the same name as from Evans? Do you th ink they would sell by the meter? This fabric isto be used in night a club they wont a tent like canapy in the celling they wont it wipeable to clean which I cannot see happening (celling 2 floors high) so as long as it is FR and not to thick I dont think there will be a problem any ideas would be welcome. Thanks in advance

                Sue,
I'm sure Agua is a separate company from Evans. Give Evans a ring. If you dont have an account, and want me to help, pm me. Can't you charge the nightclub for a whole roll? If that's how it comes.
                Kind regards

                    Re: shower curtain

                    Hi Sue,

My name is Sarah. I own Balineum (http://www.balineum.co.uk). We design and sell shower curtains in UK & Europe. Someone must have mentioned us on this blog so I though I come check it out and stumbled across your question.

I have actually had a couple of people ask before about flame retardant / fire proof shower curtains. Basically because shower curtains are used in wet enclosed areas there is rarely a need (and no government regulation requiring) flame proofness - so you will really struggle to find a ready-made fire retardant shower curtain - as you've clearly found.

I had previously found these guys: http://www.fireproofspray.co.uk/index.asp They sell a spray on fire retardant that you can apply to an existing material. I spoke to a guy called Paul Allock and he seemed very helpful. I've not used them, so can't guarantee it, but seems to be a good solution in this instance.

Might be too late for your problem, but hopefully may help others who are looking also.

                    Kindest regards,

                    Sarah
