I have a customer who likes cath kidston design fabrics, does anyone know where i can buy this fabric at trade price or any other similar fabrics which are not quite as expensive.

They've currently got a sale on - might be worth looking at. And Prestigous do a Cottage Garden book which has some lovely florals, checks & stripes in it.

Globaltex have Vintage Florals or Modern Classics collections and other more modern designs (depending on which Cath Kidston fabrics your customer likes). It may also be worth looking at Biggie Best.

I opened an account with Cath Kidston

Because I could prove I was trade they give you a discount, not much, but better than nothing. I just told the customer the price, as it was their book price there was no problem.
