  • Lining - 100% cotton or 50/50 polycotton?

    Hi,
Just a quick question - I'm pricing up curtains and roman blinds and I'm deciding what lining to use in my calculations - do you professionals use the cheaper polycotton or 100% cotton? Does it just depend on the main fabric or do you have a standard favourite you use all the time? Do you give the customer the choice due to the price difference? Any thoughts/answers much appreciated!
    Thanks.

I always use 100% cotton (unless thermal or blackout required) - I don't give customers a choice.

I have a favourite good quality cotton lining, and don't give customers a choice.

Thanks Louise and Pen, that's what I hoped you'd say! x

Always cotton for me too. I use a stiff one for blinds and a softer drapey one for curtains.
