I also do a double 1cm side hem.

I do a rolled hem on the sides, like an expensive silk scarf, if they are not going to be opened and shut, otherwise as Pen says.

I would always do a double 1cm hem on the side hems, double 7-10cm on the bottom.

Hi, I have been asked to make some net curtains with a 2" heading tape. Does anyone know the correct way to neaten the edges....leave raw/overlock/hem? Also, what would be a sensible price to charge for make-up. Thanks. K
