  • Sateen v Blackout charging

    Hello,

I generally charge the same for my time, regardless of whether I have applied a sateen or blackout lining. I was just wondering if this is the norm? Or do others charge a bit more?

    Best wishes,

    Mandy

There's very little difference in the time needed to apply each (blackout lining takes a bit more wrestling to tame it into submission), so why complicate your price list with two difference price bands?

I price both the same for curtains - Roman blinds I price differently as I use the 3 pass as you would interlining and sandwich if in between the face fabric and lining to prevent light bleed.

Thanks everyone, Just lately I seem to have done nothing but blackout - gets a bit boring. Mandy
