Just wondered what you all think?

Re: Is it necessary to put weights in interlined curtains?

I always insert weights but question their use as I once left them out by mistake and there was no difference at all. I now put them in because I feel clients wanting interlined curtains know enough about curtain making to expect them, but I really don't think they're necessary.
Sue I'm of the same opinion as you here, and often wonder why I bother with the weights especially when most people these days have their curtains with a slight puddle - But I must admit, I do like to hear the weight bounce on the table when I move the curtain, it almost shouts "Quality"

I second that! Clients think that if there are weight in the are 'quality' curtains.... never mind how badly they have been made.

Likewise, promised myself I would not work today, so spent a lot of today writing about curtains!
