Hi, I'm making curtains for doors that open inwards. The curtains will be pinch pleat, 2.5 widths per curtain but feel that the standard 6 - 8" would not be enough. Any ideas what is standard for this scenario. Many thanks

A general rule is that you should allow 30% of the window width for stackback, e.g. if the window recess is 200cm then you should have a 260cm pole.

      Re: Stack back

      Hi Helen,

I have just measured our door curtain which is 2 1/2 width interlined Hand Pinch Pleat, with quite a heavy face fabric and that takes up 50cm of rail when pulled back.

      hope that helps
