  • Swish Valance Rail

I have made a valance with Rufflette touplis deep pleat tape for one room in my daughters new house, it already has a swish corded track and valance rail installed. I wanted to use Rufflette DP 44 short hooks to attatch it. The rail has clip on support hooks (swish valance hooks) on it but they do not have the little hole on the bottom to thread the hook through, any ideas how I can get around this please.

Not easy - I think you are going to have to fudge it somehow. The only thing I've thought of is sewing small rings on the back of the valance to clip into the gliders.

Could you use brass rings or 'S' hooks in the way Pen suggests? Hang them on the clips on the track and then put the Rufflette hooks through them? As the valance is static they should hold.

Both options available from M&D and others.

S hooks - good idea, no sewing. And as Louise says, the valance is static so it should hold. Lucky it's for your daughter, not a 'real' client!
