  • Continuous Zip Woes

I can now happily get the sliders on following the Youtube video, but my query is regarding the teeth. I can run the slider up and down the zip, but the teeth don't join together to close it. Is it a lost cause or am I missing something obvious? Luckily it's only a short length of zip so if it has to be binned I shan't lose any sleep over it.

Sounds like you have the wrong sliders for the zip..

Philip, you are as usual a genius. I've just tried a different slider (unfortunately a different colour) and it works perfectly. I just need to find a project for myself which needs a beige zip with a white slider.....

Do your sliders have "Opti" on them? If so these will only work with Opti zips.

The white one's Opti, the beige is TR. I do have some white continuous zip so I'd better save the white slider for that.

There's your problem, Opti will only work with Opti.. it's also hard tp get a hold of so I'd suggest you avoid it.
