I need to encase some foam blocks in wadding before I put them into cushion covers for a sofa. What is the best glue to use? Spray adhesive, Copydex or something else entirely? I'm sure someone here will know......
Hi Rosie
I have used spray adhesive in the past, however you do have to be very careful with any type of flammable glue. They should be stored in a metal cupboard.. I have recently had a health and safety inspection and you need to have COSHH sheets if in a commercial environment.
COSSH Control of substances hazardous to health.
Maybe better to use copydex. Hope that helps
Some glues will not work on foam while others eat it I always (used to ) use spray adhesive..just checked Copes catalogue & find they no longer supply so perhaps as previously suggested there is some legislation about it...best just try Copydex like Penny suggests
Hello and thanks to everyone for all the advice. I will try A & C and see if they can advise me. I have got a metal cupboard so it would be no trouble to store things.
