  • Side by side romans with different lengths

    Hi,
I am working on 2 roman blinds which are to hang side by side. They are both at the same height, but the smaller blind is 100cms, whereas the other blind is 116 cms. It is plain fabric, so patterns aren't a problem, I was just wondering whether I should make them the same length when pulled up? If yes, can I just adjust the headrail size or is there another way?

    Thanks
    Nikki

Re: Side by side romans with different lengths

Hi. I am not very experienced so here goes.
I would always explain to the customer and ask if they want the two blinds to appear to be the same size. I think it is always better to have symmetry and it might look a bit odd to have one 6 cm shorter.
You could move one heading up 6 cm and I presume the blind will cover the top part of the window so it will not be so obvious when up and will look the same length when down.
    Hope this helps,
    Mary
