  • Checked fabric. Help, please.

Must the rod pockets be in line with the check? I feel that it would look better, but have given myself a splitting headache doing calculations.

Finished drop 222cm, pattern repeat 15cm.

Putting the rod pockets on the check lines leaves too much, (or not enough) on the top. Am I missing something obvious? I've put them away, as I shall make stupid mistakes if I do any more today. They're only 73cm wide, that won't take long, says I to myself. Pah!

Nic you're causing yourself unnessary stress - The pockets do not have to line up with the check.

Do you know, Philip, that's probably the story of my life.

Thank you. There are times when one doesn't trust one's own judgement.

It's a LA fabric, too, so probably not safe to rely on the check for spacing, anyway...

We're all guilty of it, but sometimes you just have to throw the fabric on the table and get on with it.. The customer will never appreciate the extra work you put into making things perfect.
