  • Cords slipping in cord locks

I am using the batten cord locks from Collybrook, and also the Swish supreme lift cord lock which I use on it's own and alter so that it screws onto the batten. I have had two clients who have reported the blind slipping. I origionally used very fine cord, but replaced it with a slighlty thicker one. However, the cords are still slipping. What cord does anyone else use with the batton cord locks??

Are these fairly small blinds? I just wondered if they are heavy enough to create enough 'pull' to make the locks work correctly?

      Hi Julie,
We have very few problems with the cord locks, if any, if they are used with the recommended heavy duty cord, or something similar. They won't work with very fine cord. Even small blinds are fine, so I think it must be the cord. PM me if you would like a sample so that you can compare it to the one you are using.
      Kind regards

Thanks for the samples - they are thicker than the cord I am using, I will get on and put an order in.
