    Hia

Making a roman blind for myself and decided to use silk!
Any advice before I go ahead, would you interline it, use blackout lining?
    Regards

    Hi there,
yes I would definitely interline your blind, for clients I would use 260 gms,for myself the heavy weigh, 410 gms, I sometimes use thermal lining as well, as our house is so cold in the winter. I love silk Romans, they always look gorgeous.

      Hi Julie,
I would definitely interline it - never sure about blackout lining....

I would only use blackout in the blind if you need to stop light. If you do, I would use it to interline the blind and perhaps use a thinner interlining with it than if you don't use blackout. Then use standard lining to back the blind as it's much easier to make rod pockets with than blackout.
