    Help.....in a moment of madness I have suggested hobbled romans to this customer, she does not want a 'flat' surface on her blind when down. Its a large one....264cm by 149long in Harlequin ARA. personally I think the fabric is OK as it has a bit of texture but .....she thinks its a fab idea.....thats NOT what my roman lady said!!
    Has anyone made one??

    This customer is driving us to the red wine already.

    Have a look at this Enid - Hobbled shades Make the blind too long for the window and sew a rod pocket at every fold - Take several lengths of India tape, these should be the correct size for the window, divide this by the pockets and sew in vertical lengths. This will mean when the blind is lowered, the tape will fall to the correct length but the blind will hobble.
