    I will soon be making a taffeta roman interlined with saril. This is the first time i have used saril, is there anything I need to be aware of

    Excuse my ignorance but what is Saril? I have googled it but did not find anything out.

    I've just made 3 taffeta romans with the lining that is already interlined. I thought it would be too bulky but I read somewhere on this forum, think it may have been Louise, who said that is the only time they would use that sort of a lining as it is maybe not so good for curtains.

      Dear Susan.

      If you bring up Merrick & Day on your computer and go into Linings and Interlinings they will have pictures of what they supply, in varying weights.

        It's manmade fibre interlining - often heat-set so less likely to shrink/warp, it also sheds less in use so does not fill the room with fluff. As Mercury suggests, M&D have a range of weights......
