  • Top & Bottom Turnings - Roman Blinds

I've recently started to cut a small "V" out of the fabric at the top and bottom of the side turnings on my roman blinds. I fine this reduces bulk and makes cripser turnings.. The "V" is cut directly on the crease.

I did this too, for the first time a couple of weeks ago. Made everything lie much flatter! Thought I was cheating but it does the trick.

Can you explain that again, I have the brain gone missing time. Where do you cut

        Hi Sophie.
Not Philip here, but what I think we did, correct me if i'm wrong philip, was to turn up our hem, iron then unfold again. Then, take out a slender triangle of the fabric the allow all the layers to lie better when the hem is turned up again. Same at the top....
