  • Measuring for roman blinds in a bay window

Can anyone please point me in the direction of a good set of instructions to measure for roman blinds in a bay window? I have done it before but not particularly confident and due to my underlying health condition I'm not going in to clients houses to measure. I'm going to be doing a zoom call with a client that I first visited and measured up for about 2 years ago (!!) and she's finally chosen her material and wants to refresh her memory of the measurements etc and I just want to know I'm instructing her correctly for the angles more than anything. Many thanks!
    Regards,
    Alison

The easiest thing to do with the angles is to give the customer some strips of paper which are the same depth as the blind tracks you use. Get them to put them against the edge of the frame either side of the angle until the front edges are about 5mm apart and make a pencil mark. This post explains quite well

There's also this post (unfortunately the associated picture got lost during a forum upgrade a while ago)
