  • Interlock layers on the Blackout blind

    Hi!

    Advise please!
I normally use lock stitch for interlining between and on the rod pockets.
And also interlock lining where pockets are.

    You?

Or all of this not needed than stab stitch?

Now I'm making blackout and lined roman. Shall I use lock stitch ? Or only stab stitching?

    Thanks a lot!

Re: Interlock layers on the Blackout blind

I never interlock roman blinds and I always stab stitch. The stab stitches hold everything in place (and to be honest once the blinds are in place they don't move about like curtains - they just move up and down in their pleats)

Bear in mind though - with blackout romans you will get small holes of light showing through where the stab stitches are.
