  • Roller blind in customer's own fabric

    Hi,
I have a customer who ideally would like a Roman Blind for her kitchen but she says it gets dirty from the proximity of the cooker. So I sugested a laminated roller in her own fabric. Would laminating a roller prevent it from getting dirty? or would a Scotchguard spray form a dirt barrier?
    thanks

Whatever the customer has is going to get dirty because it’s close to the cooker, as she says. Your customer has to accept this and look are practical, easy to clean options.

All made to measure roller blind suppliers have a PVC blackout in their range which will be simple to clean, and provide perfect shade & privacy. Depending on which PVC range they use, there will be between 6 and 10 colours to choose from, which is more than enough. I would use plastic chain on the end farthest from the cooker - it is smoother, quieter, stronger and easier to clean than metal, but do remember the child safety regulations regarding chain length etc.
