  • tensioning spring operated roller blinds

Has anyone else had trouble getting spring operated roller blinds to work properly?

I'm really struggling with some I've just installed. The Decorquip team are being very helpful in talking me through it (they don't supply instructions with the blinds which I think I have now persuaded them to do), but even with their instructions I can't get them to work.

I'm probably being very stupid, but it is very frustrating and I don't know what I'm doing wrong. Suggestions on a postcard please!

    Best wishes

Thank you Philip, that is really helpful. The Decorquip system isn't quite the same- the turning mechanism is in the bracket, so it is impossible to put a screwdriver in when the blind is in a recess. However, several of the other videos showed different methods (which have been suggested by Decorquip) but its so helpful to actually see the process being done and working.
