Soft pleat/London blind for small window

I've been asked to make a blind for a small bathroom window, width 60cm and depth 90cm. My client would like a soft pleat or London blind but thinking about it, would the inverted pleat in a London blind create too much bulk for a small window? I've looked in the M&D book and it suggests allowing 30cm for each pleat - 2 pleats would take up half the width of the blind unless I make the pleats smaller - or would this look silly? Any comments would be much appreciated. Thank you

London blinds really look best on long windows, as when they are in the up position they cover a lot of the window. you could make a soft roman blind - without rods, but with a bar at the bottom. The folds 'droop' when the blind is up.

Thank you for your advice. On reflection I think I will go with a soft roman blind, London blinds are lovely but I think it will be too much on this occasion. Thank you! Have a good Easter.
