Has anyone ever made a Moreland valance from the M'Fay pattern? I am looking for an asymmetrical top treatment that is not a swag.......

I made one as a sample once , but did not have the pattern made it up as I went along. will try and get the kids to post a picture for me when they get home from school.

I've made the valance as a sample for the shop, as we sell the patterns. It worked very well, and the instructions to alter it are clear. I think it is a lovely style.

Thanks for the feedback - that makes me feel more confident to offer it as an option.

Thanks for posting your picture Susieq. You did a great job considering you had no pattern to go by.
I have the Moreland Valance pattern and do intend to make one up in plain silk with a matching curtain for the display area in the lobby outside my workroom.
When I have the time that is!!!
            Kindest Regards
