    I realize that this isn't exactly home repair but I'll try posting it
    anyway. My mother has a foam back support covered with denim, that she
    wants me to attach permanently onto her office chair. Double-sided tape
    is not strong enough. Don't want to drill any holes through the foam.
    Any ideas?

      Stitch ties on (in the appropriate places) and tie it to the chair

        Philip is a very nice man !! And as he is obviously in the mood to show his teaching abilities:-

        I wonder if he could show me how to use a blind hemmer for inserting lining!

          If your needle swings from left to right, then you machine will only be able to sew linings in if you treat the sides as you would a hem - This means having a false mitre.

              I'm not sure which video that originally linked to, but if you go straight to the Mydecozo channel on Youtube you can see all the forum's videos listed and see if there's one that covers what you want to watch...
