    Hi Mumf and welcome i use the same size for cushions and tiebacks as well mainly because i bought a massive reel and iv still got loads left. Still it looks good on both might have a look at a different size when this reel gets low!!

    Thank you so much for the welcome and the super fast reply.I think I'll have a practice with the same size and see what it looks like.I need to practice my piping skills anyway !

    Hi Mumf

    Welcome to the forum! With regards to the piping, I tend use the same piping for cushions and tiebacks but it is a matter of choice. I recently opened a thread regarding piping sizes as I rather like to the way thin piping looks and am about to make a set of cushions today using a thiner piping.

    I suppose using the same size piping would give a more co-ordinated look.

    Hi,This is my first post on this forum,having be directed from the Alternative Windows site.

    I'm making piped tiebacks to match piped cushions,should I used the same size cord or a little finer ?

    Any help would be appreciated Thank you
