  • Bay window poles

    Good morning,
I have two bay windows to deal with. These have wooden shutters in place and the shutter housing extends to 20cm, so obviously need a made to measure pole with extended brackets to overcome this. Not convinced that this is the best option, but this is what the designer has specified.

Becuase I lost all my paperwork, including details of suppliers, can anyone advise a good trade supplier of mtm poles - the designer wants a large diameter pole, antique brass and obviously good quality.

    Many thanks

    Re: Bay window poles

Bradley poles are good for mtm but are expensive. You could try top fixing the pole into the ceiling. Bradley do top/ceiling fix fittings and pass over rings so the need for extending brackets are not required. You will need to get your track fitter to inspect the ceiling condition first and assess whether it can take the weight. So long the fixings are into the joists it should be sufficeint.

Hallis Hudson and Cope and timmins are equally good. Hunter and Hyland have amore personal service and nothing is too much either , a very good service but expensive too.

Good luck hope that gave you a little help.

I use Cameron Fuller for my bay poles - very good service todate. They only do 19mm metal for bays but have a good range of finishes and finials.
