  • Fitting Poles for Slotted Curtains

Does anyone know how to fit brackets to hold up pole which has been slotted through curtains as on page 47 of Curtain Inspiration & page 22 Curtain Design Directory. Do slots have to be made for the brackets to fit into.
My client wants really opulant curtains but doesn't want any rings to be seen. She's gone for 35mm pole with Glass finials.
We are still at the planning stage so any help will be gratefully received...
    Regards

You will surely have to make a slot for the bracket to pass through. Maybe make a facing for it (the slot will need to be longer than the bracket width so that the curtain can still be gathered). Or is it a wooden pole and bracket? Cut off the front of the bracket, then screw the bracket onto the pole through the fabric at the back.
