  • Protecting fabric from sun

Hi, Making silk curtains - face fabric - interlining - supersoft blackout- then DB1 lining. Need to give silk fabric as much protection as possible, as for south facing window, so have to use blackout. I'm pondering over what is the best way to lay in the blackout, should I interlock interlining to face fabric then lay in the blackout and interlock interlining and blackout together and bring blackout up to inside fold of side turn and hems then lay in lining as normal. I don't use blackout so often and just not too sure about this. Also, does is it look o.k. to bring the lining nearly up to the outside edge of side turn, again to help protect from the sun
