Best space allowance around table grid?

I am on the point of having a new workroom table made and am planning to buy a Denton Drapes grid cover. Would any of you have any experience of the best space to leave around the edges of the printed grid area ? I am hoping to buy the medium size of 320x150, so need to let my carpenter know how big to make the table surface.

    Hello Liz
Our tables are all 152cms wide and so there is 1cm extra at each side of the printed part of the grid. I would say this is a good size as it means you can square the grid more easily. The actual grid is 180cms wide so there is around 14/15cms to wrap under each side to staple underneath.
    I hope that helps....
    Kindest Regards

Thank you Penny, I am having my carpenter round soon, so hope to order when table size confirmed with him, but will most probably be your medium grid.
